Assuming that from Point A to Point B lies a distance where walking is way too exhausting, of course I'd take public transport. What the heck, how else do I get around, like, from home to school or to Parkway Parade, Plaza Singapura or to Bedok Jetty?
I am not rich, I don't own a car, neither do I own a motorcycle(though I'm dying for one) nor a bicycle. Blame it on the government down here for raising the age limit for acquiring a driver's licence.
But then again, we should actually blame the reckless young drivers for drink-driving and speed monkeys - they're quite the reason why this is happening around here. Perhaps practice on a little more social responsibility could solve the problem, and perhaps the Land Transport Authority(LTA) would reconsider this ruling.
